Taking Receipts Ledger Book

  • Details
Taking Receipts is an artist-editioned ledger book for aggressions taken out on people of color. Whether that person be you or your neighbor, Taking Receipts is a clever way to document each incident that goes passively or aggressively unaccounted for.

When was the last time you tried to explain that color was NOT blind? No need to try and recount each incident when you've got a physical log at your side. Compiled and edited by artist Aram Sifuentes and playfully illustrated by Ishita Dharap, Taking Receipts is an experimental-yet-practical attempt at holding people accountable for their actions.

Give as a gift to your comrade or keep for yourself and add entries when needed. The conversation is not over. It has only begun.
